Biography

 

Daan Verlaan (Netherlands, 1978) is a singer, composer and harpist whose activities span many disciplines and genres.

 

He studied Greek and Latin at the University of Leiden, and composition of contemporary music at the Rotterdam Conservatory.

 

He sings in different professional choirs, and as a singer and harpist, he is part of several groups, ranging from medieval music to classical and pop music, and also musical theater.

 

Daan's solo concerts are often eclectic, connecting different styles and eras, while he sings and accompanies himself on his different harps.
